This is me and my Whoop big time. I tried to the 1000 words, but I was hitting recoveries below 35% every day after starting a new job. Honestly, pretty nice to have a device override my "but I should be able to do everything!" instinct with actual data.

I debated getting a smart watch because I was like, "I don't need a watch to tell me I'm tired!" But as it turns out - I do! The data gives me permission to actually slow down and rest, which is problematic in a different way, but at least I'm sleeping more!

It's really fascinating! Especially when I look back on a stressful week and see that my heart rate was up, my sleep was inconsistent, etc. We really do carry everything in our bodies!
