I decided to go to Switzerland for my 50th birthday after reading an article about a hotel that was typically Swiss. It was in a ski resort that was famous for having an outdoor spa where you could float around whilst looking at snow covered mountains. I don't ski, but I had a wonderful time with my husband and two teenagers. I live in Australia, so it was an expensive trip (we also went to Ireland), but I never regretted it. I agree that you should shoot for the stars.
