fellow Italian learner here! have you watched Falling in Love with the Italian Language. Interview with Jhumpa Lahiri on YouTube? it inspires me to learn in ways that classes, podcasts, tutors, journals, etc, etc have not. if you would, please share the recommendations you get as I am also planning a trip and could use some direction.

So I just downloaded Duolingo, lol. I got addicted to Wordl, then BRDL, then Quordle, then Secordle (16 games at once). Just yesterday I said ok, I need a game where at lest I learn something because it turns out you do eventually start seeing the same words over and over. And here you post the answer - Duolingo! I didn’t know it was so game like but now I am going to try learning Spanish again. I tried years ago with some other software but maybe this time it will stick. Thanks!
