Thanks for the enlightenment. Glad I'm not in debt to higher education. I don't even have an associates degree, but I've managed to publish a story collection and become the third ranked fiction writer on Substack ( behind only Palahniuk and Rushdie ).
I'm sure there are people out there who feel like they never would have published without the education they received in an MFA program, but I would never want anyone to feel like they can't be a writer without one.

Congratulations! Proof that a fancy degree is absolutely not necessary. Talent always comes first! Endurance probably comes second. :)
